There's nothing like getting some organised events in the diary to give you the motivation to keep training.  I've compiled this list of Sportives in the North West of England if you fancy giving one a go, i'll keep adding to it.  If you're an organiser and you'd like yours to go on, drop me a note. 

February

• Sunday 17th Feb - Cheshire Mini Sportive  - (30M/60M) - (Poynton, Cheshire).  Details here.
• Sunday 24th Feb – Polocini Winter Sprinter – (30M or 60M route) - (Woodford, Cheshire).  Details here.

• Sunday 12th May – The High Peak Hog (53M/80M) – (Glossop).  Details here.  Route looks challenging, one for the climbers!
• Sunday 18th May – Keswick Sportive ( 46K/90K/105K) – (Keswick, Cumbria).  Details here.  Good one to do if you want to get a taster of what the Fred Whitton might have been like.

June

• Saturday 1st June - Polocini The B*stard - (56M/68M) - (Oldham).  Details here.
