Good news. I've checked my BMI this morning and it's come down from 27.5 to 26.6, so progress being made. I've just been out on for a teatime 20 miler and covered 21.3 miles in 1hr 23 mins at an average speed of 15.3mph. I picked a route which had some steady uphills in it as I want to work on my strength, so knew that my average would be down a bit. Had quite a headwind too, so pleased with 15.3mph. Definitely starting to feel stronger now, so the building blocks are starting to take shape.
