Jagwire Tube Tops
Protecting your bike from brake cable rub on your frame is one of those things that you don't think about much, but it makes a lot of sense to do. You will get round to it if you suddenly start to see your beautiful paintwork being rubbed away or if you have a flapping cable.
Jagwire make a nifty little product called a Tube Top that doesn't cost a lot, a pack of four cable covers which provide a barrier between your cables and the frame.
Fitted in seconds, the small rubber seals sit snug around the cable and prevent rubs, simple as that. I've fitted them on all of my bikes. Cheap to buy at under a fiver and available in black or white.
If you haven't heard of Jagwire before, they are an American company which make brake related stuff like cables, pad and housings. Well worth a look if you're planning to replace any of those parts on your bike.
